It's a new year and...

We're back...

So...Let's play some catch up!!! A picture for each month that was missed...

Austin Kelly Dian was born.. June 4th 2010..He came in singing and has been a blessing since..

July 2010: The Walther Family had our first trip with all of us traveling to Potter County..While it was only a weekend trip, we had a great time..Mike and I decided to make use of the time and did a day trip to Niagara Falls.. This was a first and we all enjoyed the day-trip.

Hello August.. We had a new camping vacation to Lake George, NY with new Camping Buddies, the Matlack Family! Again, awesome trip and looking forward to many more..

September, and the month every parent looks forward to: Back to School:) It was also off to school for the twins, part-time, but their first school at Bright Beginnings...

October: Last Camping Trip of the season, this time heading to Preston, CT. It was a beatiful, yet chilly trip of which we enjoyed again with the company of the Matlack Family.

November: Happy 3rd Birthday to my little boys!!

December: Merry Christmas! Friends and Family...That's what is all about!

Getting prepared...

Well so far this month we have been very busy once again with Mike working most weekends, as he now has three jobs.. In our spare time, trying to catch up on what needs to be done and spending family time together. We have been working to get the rooms changed and are 99.9% finished, with exception to some pictures and blankets. The boys are all in love and excited about their new rooms. Braeden took his love of space and enjoys sitting at his desk to build his lego's and draw, while Jaxson and David tell us daily when they wake up how they "slept in their new room". Soon Baby Austin will join the crowd... 3 weeks to go :)

April 2010, the boys are getting so big and growing up so fast. Baseball has been the theme of this month, as Braeden started his softball league. He has graduated from T-ball and is really doing well. David and Jaxson are very into seeing his big brother play and cheer him on. Braeden plays for the Mariners and every game has had more than one hit! Jaxson and David received their own bat/balls from the Easter bunny to get them in the spirit. They enjoy playing T-ball in the back yard with Braeden and also are the outfielders when Mike practices with Braeden. Shoot, next year we'll have enough people for our own team.

Happy Birthday to my Braeden!!

Today he turns 7 and I can't believe how much he has grown. We had a family party for him over the weekend of which he wanted a Bakugan Party and this coming weekend he will get to celebrate with his school friends at Kidz Rule (Its a bouncer place). Today he brought in cup cakes for his class and will also be having an outside lunch! Such a great day for my big boy:)

Today's Stand-off...

The den was a wreck and it was just about lunch-time...To get some help I told the boys that they had to clean up the cars that they dumped and then they could have peanut butter and jelly for lunch... Jaxson--no problem, he went over to his bin and cleaned up his cars.. David decided that he would sit next to the bin and on top of the pile of cars. When Jaxson finished cleaning up his pile, him and I went into the kitchen, I made him PBJ and he ate. David sat on his cars with a "Bull-dog" face. He did this for approx. 5-10 min. All this time, I spent in the kitchen w/ Jaxson and said nothing to him. Next thing I hear is him throwing cars in the bin...Video gets the rest....

So, what's happened in the last month... Snow*Snow*Snow...

Lots of snow--3 Ft of snow! The boys of course loved it, sledding, making snow tunnels and snow "walls"--that were suppose to be Forts.. lol.. Other than that, we all have been keeping busy in our house, with the transition of bedrooms-preparing for the addition. Mike has recently found a new job which he started last week and its going well. He also has found a 2nd "past-time" which is Tree Clean-up... Not sure what to call it, but its certainly working out well. Braeden is mentally preparing for his 7th birthday-reminding me daily that I need to plan his party.. and the Twins.. well, every day is different and new. They recently have been loving to do puzzles and doing them very well. Still reading, with Mike going back to work, I have tried some new routines with the boys, fitting reading and other activities into my work schedule. Practicing our colors, they have blue down pat, mixing up some of the others--yet some days getting them right:) Numbers--2 and 6! so if you ask them to count-they can say those! Communication wise, not a problem-the tattle tailing has begun, as well as fighting in sentences. Naps, we now have straight jackets--aka overalls, as they are the only thing they can't get off. Yea not fun walking into a mess, if you catch my drift... They know that mommy has a baby is her belly, and the bigger I get, the more David asks me--Belly Hurt--so I have to explain to him that no it does not hurt. "Austin"... He is kicking lots! More than any of the others.. Is this a sign of what's to come...?

Christmas 2009, a very very good Christmas! Every kid in our house was so happy with the gifts received from cleaning kits, skateboards, books, Bagukans, Leapfrog Games, Baby Dolls, and Kitchen sets. We thank Santa for everything this year! Christmas Eve was very enjoyable having Italian Dinner, with the Dian side of the family, and Xmas Day having a Turkey Dinner on the Walther side. I think the funniest part of the evening was doing a little WII Fit. There are so many good Christmas memories this year I could go on forever. It was a very very Happy Holiday:)

Its a snow day--and boy was it ever with a foot in Upper Gwynedd..The boys loved the snow, especially Jaxson and Braeden. Red Checks and all, they would've stayed out all day, if they could. Braeden went sledding with Mike and decided to turn his sled into a snowboard, and did very very well!!! See what he's learning from WII--hahaa!

All bundled up and ready to go, we ventured to "Christmas Village" to see some lights.. Even with the bitter cold, we all had such a good time. Mike and I had ventured here approx.. 12 years ago, with the Bloome Family, when we were childless...My what 12 years later brings...The boys all loved the lights and especially the trains...We even saw a little glimpse of Santa.

Our Brandi Girl! We had been struggling for some time. At 8 yrs. old, our girl was the best dog we'd had. This picture was taken just this month when we were outside playing in the leaves. She loved playing in the leaves, snow and did everything she could to be right there with us-no matter what. I will miss, her getting as close as she could to me, getting excited when we came home, waiting for bedtime, following me around-even to the bathroom, even the Brandi Towels.. I miss her now and will always miss my beautiful girl...

Trick or TREAT.. well at least Treat was one word commonly used by all three--It was a good Halloween with my "Dark Vador" and his "life saver", my little shark--so appropriate for my little Jaxson and David as a puppy dog--trying to get as close as we could to his favorite dog-Ginger... All three were real troopers--especially Jaxson and Braeden which had it down pat to go to the door for "chocolate". David did well to, but seem "star struck" when the people opened the door--In the end, all three kids didn't quite understand the concept of taking only --One--but thats ok-Lots of candy for us:)

Our Little Pumpkins! Its pumpkin carvin' time and as the twins colored their own pumpkins, Braeden, Mike and I carved ours. Now the big pumpkins were grown in our garden so carving them was special. Even though their was some eating of markers and a few pumpkin seeds on the floor--It was a very fun night that ended with an Ipod dance party:)

While Mike and David are doing some work up in Potter County, Braeden, Jaxson and I are enjoying some quality time together. The three of us went to Color Me Mine and this was Jaxson's first time painting. Together we made a mug and Braeden painted a Motorcycle and a spider. All in all, things went awesome, with Jaxson only getting a little paint on himself--but shoot, it washes right out:)

Growing up, I remember little moments with my Grandmom that are irreplaceable: sitting on her step and waiving to the airplanes "Hi Aunt Liz", Getting gum from her purse--Usually Green Trident, and getting Ice cream at DQ-she always got Chocolate and I liked Vanellia...Not to mention her vegetable soup that she would make, only soup I like-nobody makes it like her. These are little things I miss and remember... I see my boys with my mom, and hope that these are their "little moments". I know for days, Braeden asked to make cookies at Grandmom's and while he enjoys eating the dough the most, he did take part in making the cookies. This was also Jaxson and David's first time. We did come home with more cookies then mess.. so it was a success:)

While this day is not about me, I was so honored to be apart of it. Lisa, one of my best friends, lifelong friends since birth was a beautiful bride. I am so happy for her that she has found such a wonderful man-LJ! A wonderful day which started with Hair, Make-up, getting ready with the girls to ending with singing, dancing, and even a few tears on my part. I can't express to you how I felt, but the happiness I feel about our friendship is and for her on her special day--ah, wonderful!

September 21st, 2009: What is this day, the day Braeden has been waiting for. He will receive a visit from the tooth Fairy. After much patience and a little bit of fright, the tooth finally came out, with some help from Mike and I. Once the tooth came out, he was so happy! He was also happy the next morning when he found those $2.00 underneath his pillow. My baby is growin up!

Hello First Grade...Summer Camp comes to an end and Braeden was very excited to begin First grade...He was very happy to be going all day and having lunch and recess at school. Within the first week, he even received a "prize" for being a good listener. Everything so far as been off to a perfect start!

This labor day, we decided to end the summer with some relaxation, being it was quite a busy one for us...

Along with the Carlson Family and my mom, we all enjoyed some family time around the bonfire listening

to the coyotes, Day-trips to Rock City and Kinzu Damn, Bee stings, Tractors, Crawfish and Frogs. From the

clouds lifted from around the mountains until we sat underneath star filled skies, it was a perfect way to end

our summer.

SUMMER FUN!

Thank you to Aunt Char and Uncle Jay. While the pool may be a little unleveled, it served its purpose. All the kids, and even me, enjoyed some swim time. It even helped Braeden get a little more comfortable swimming under neath the water. We will work on better leveling for next year.

We were all feeling "just beachy", thanks to Katie for allowing us the use of her rental in Avalon. We had the most perfect beach day for the boys to enjoy the sun and sand. Braeden enjoyed digging and after some coaching being in the water... Jaxson loved to dig for the little clams... David LOVED playing in the water. He had no fear, running right in and up to the waves-but he did learn they will catch you by surprise and knock you down! In the end, it was the perfect beach day.

Happy Campers...

Our first camping trip of the season, Hickory Run, with the Bloome Family. Funny enough the last time we attempted this, it also rained and we ended up in a hotel. So, this time, we toughed it out. Rain and all, we had an awesome time, going to a pretzel factory, candy factory, bolder field, searching for wildlife (I swear I'm bad luck), frisbee, campfire, smores--GOOD TIMES:)

All Fired Up! Yup, thats what we all were this year at Horsham Day--Best Fireworks around, in my opinion. Braeden enjoyed dancing and running around, but when the show began, his complete attention was on the sky! Jaxson too, OOHHHed, laughed and wowed at every firework that lite the sky. I had more fun just listening to him. David, was happy, as long as he could lean on Daddy, he needed that little bit of comfort.

Our little artists! Using one big canvas, all three boys put their "stamp" of perfection on it. We bought these new things from Crayola, which are suppose to be good for Toddlers, however, it didn't matter--everyone still seemed to get ink on them! In the end it didn't matter much, what did was they all really enjoyed just scribbling all other the place:)

It swim time! Well, our pool is a little small, but the boys don't seem to mind! It doesn't even matter that the water is right outta the house, not at all warmed up and the sun was not out, they were ready to get wet. Now that the twins are getting older, it is nice to see the three boys all play together and have fun.

Braeden's first year in T-Ball. He was so excited. Loved the practices and we finally get to the first game...Of course, They are calling for Thunderstorms. Well the good news was that at least both teams got one full inning in, and then it started to pour. Our 2nd game came and we had perfect weather, blue skys and and awesome game against the Braves--Go A's:)

So, you might ask yourself... How does Mike mow the lawn and watch the kids at the same time (since I was out of commission from surgery)? Well, If there's a will, there's a way! Make a seat for the back of the tractor, hold one, while the other goes for a ride on the back--and Braeden follow in his Jeep! Success!!! And of course, they all love it--Wish I could go for a ride:(

Here comes Peter Cotton Tail...

Well, it wasn't a perfect Easter, but we made the best of it! Right on time, both of the twins ended up sick! But, with being sick, we had a very good time as a family! First, Dying Eggs, of which Braeden did an AWESOME job! Jaxson and David both tried it out, but I think we'll leave it to the pro's...The Easter Bunny was very good to all the kids, bringing, lots of candy and a few toys/treats! On Easter, all the boys found the eggs that the Easter Bunny hid around the house. A tip for the Easter Bunny--Hide the plastic eggs, cuz Jaxson definetly enjoyed smashing the real ones:) Braeden also enjoyed going to Great Grandma's to have an egg hunt there. Lastly a wonderful dinner was made by my mom at our house which we all enjoyed--especially the twins chowing down on the olives--which I will never figure out:) Happy Easter!!!

This year he wanted a Pirate party. With a gathering of family and a few of Braeden's friends, we celebrated his big day! Spinal Fusion Surgery

At age 14, I had Scoliosis Surgery to reduce the curve in the top half of my spine from 50 degrees to 13 degrees, not expecting the bottom curve to continue (which at the time was approx 13 degrees). 17 years later, here we are again and my curve was worse at 53 degrees and rotating in my body, leaving no choice but to repeat the surgery. After removing some of the old stuff and adding some new hardware, 10 hours later and 5 pints of blood-the results are AMAZING! My curve degree went from 53 to 18 degrees and my hump is gone. I feel like a new me:)

Play-dough Fun!

Today's snow day produced some "lag" time, so I thought, why not try some play-dough, with the twins too! Braeden made us all some play-dough cookies-which were awesome and Jaxson dug right in and would imitate me and Braeden. David, of course, initially tried to eat it, but after some coaching from Mike did at least touch it. I think next time, I'll just make the kind they can actually eat.

Well Deserved!!!!

My gift to Mike for Christmas and a good gift that it was...Our trip to Las Vegas and it was awesome. Like our normal style, we jammed plenty of activity into 4 days and had a blast... Touring the strip, enjoying some cocktails, renting a car for the day and doing to Hoover Dam and Red Rock Canyon, Seeing 2 showings- a Variety Show and Blue Man Group-both were awesome.. yes, doing some gambling (I won-he lost--so we broke even) and the best part for both of us-while this may sound really stupid-in the evening enjoying some cocktails in the Piano Lounge with these 2 guys that were awesome singers/piano players playing any song requested by the crowd~ the most fun!

Welcome 2009!! It has started off w/ a bang. We have been very busy so I will summarize some of our highlights in the past few weeks...

* Crayola Factory w/ The Fishers, and Walther Gang: Alot of fun, and cauos! Gotta love it!

*Ice Skating: While Mike and I have been ice skating--we have never taken Braeden. He liked it! After holding our hands, he became comfortable enough to try it on his own, needing some help and we thank the cone:)

*Snowmobiling up Potter County: Well Sledding too.. The old fashion way, thats what Braeden liked, i.e., where you get pulled back up the hill via the snowmobile pulling the tub--remember Mandy:) We had such a good time, even the Twins liked it. There was 1 ft of snow-plenty for Mike and I to go on a ride--which we enjoyed--Thanks Dad for the use of the helmet:)

You know they are growing up when....

So tonight David was unhappy about being told NO when he made an attempt to get into the WII console. He then sat on the floor and began to cry...At that moment was the most amazing thing and a first for us. Jaxson then walked over to him and gave him a hug. Not only did he hug him, but, as he hugged him, patted him on the shoulder with his hand. While we may call him our little monster, he is a little monster with a big heart!

Merry Christmas to all.. Our house was filled with happy faces and lots of wonderful presents this year, despite the Twins being sick. Braeden was especially happy to receive everything that he mentioned to Santa and amazed to see the note which Santa had left him. After sleeping in, David and Jaxson did wake up to find some gifts under the tree--especially a new chair to enjoy. It was a wonderful Christmas for us all

Merry Christmas to all... While this may not be the twins 1st Christmas, so far it has given us alot of firsts. Jaxson and David's reaction to the Christmas Tree has been priceless. As this photo show's, at first Jaxson looked and took it all in--as he was talking to the tree! David, enjoyed the ornaments from the first moment. Now that they have adapted to the tree, they enjoy removing the ornaments and tincel, every chance they get.

FIRST HAIRCUTS

In preparation for there birthday, and the fact that they were starting to have mullets-in one swoop, we had a haircut day for all three boys. The twins did awesome-David was so serious, but had a crush on the hairdresser as he was flirting with her-smiling and laughing. Jaxson, the spaz that he is-was fine for 30 seconds and then we had to occupy him w/ caps from the shampoo bottles-just to keep him still. In the end, no crying was involved, which was a very pleasant surprise.

DEFINITELY A TREAT!

Halloween 2008 was a treat! Braeden was the cutest bat I have ever seen--only a little scary! The twins costumes were picked appropriately! David was a little pumpkin and he wore the hat well! Jaxson was a little monster/Frankenstein: the most perfect costume for him. Leah was a beautiful princess. The boys did awesome this year, walking the neighborhood, w/ Mike and I for 2 hours--well Braeden did, as the twins rode in style. We stacked up lots for candy. Jaxson and David were nice and relaxed by 8, but once we got home everyone was ready to go again.

BUSY, BUSY.... BEE'S!

Time is not something that has been on our side this month... Between soccer games on weekends and work, Mike and I have many long days. Both Twins are getting "so big" as they demonstrate to us, especially by telling us NO and YES! They are drinking whole milk and pretty much eating normal food--everything under the sun! We have started sippy cups, but when they want to be silly, they will spit it out at you.

A camping we will go....

This time, in our backyard...After a nice fire and spooky stories, Braeden and Mike slept out in the tent. While I did have baby duty, I was also ok to sleep in-doors, as it was very chilly that night! They both snuggeled in there blankets and even slept in alittle. Braeden did say that "daddy snored loud"...One other reason I was happy to be inside:)

Relaxation, in Potter County...

Since our last trip to potter was dampened by David getting sick, we thought we make a 2nd attempt... and go figure, the day before, everyone starts w/ a runny nose-however, we trucked on. When getting there, we relaxed and enjoyed the awesome fall weather. Braeden and I took a walk and did some walking in the crick... we saw no crawfish, but did see some minnow’s...Even doing nothing all, it was well worth the trip.

September 2nd...Braeden's first day of Kindergarten...Well, sorta...Mike, Braeden and I all went to school to meet the teacher and his class. September 3rd though, was the real first day of school. Braeden was alittle nervous yet very excited. He especially was happy to ride the bus. There was no hestiation, no tears--you would think he's done it before. He hopped on the bus, waved to us and w/ a big smile, took off. Once school was over and he was dropped off at 3:45, he got off the bus w/ another huge smile. He loves his teacher, loves his class. He has already had Library, Gym and made a new friend-Ethan!

Bar Harbor, Maine

Our big camping trip for the summer and as the picture shows, it was definetly a vacation. We did so much that I will try and not forget anything. Please look at all the August Pics as there is so many awesome one's!
DAY 1: HANGING OUT W/ THE BLOOMES AT THIER CABIN ON THE LAKE: Braeden did a paddle boat all by himself. We all enjoyed relaxing and spending the day together and this time-not in tents!

DAY 2: ACADIA NATIONAL PARK: Along w/ the Bloome Family, we traveled Park Loop Road, making several stops and hikes along the way. We also ventured to the top of Cadillac Mountain where we enjoyed some wild blueberries as a nice treat! Several breathtaking views:)

DAY 3: OCEANARIUM: This was our first and only day of "alittle less than perfect" weather. So we decided we could kinda take the day alittle slow and go to the Oceanarium on Mt. Desert Island. There we got to see the lobster hatchery, see a blue lobster and old many other forms of sea life. Braeden's favorite was the Seastar.

DAY 4: BAR HARBOR AND LOBSTER FISHING/SEAL WATCHING BOAT TOUR The morning started w/ Mike and Braeden renting bikes to ride around the campground, while the twins and I just enjoyed coffee. Later that day, we all ventured to Bar Harbor where we did some shopping and stopped in a Whale Museam. We them went on a Boat Tour which was awesome. It was nice to enjoy the sun setting as we saw Harbor Seals, got a lesson on Lobster fishing and even got to see Egg Island Lighthouse. Braeden loved the Lighthouse. He was also the first to "dig in" and hold the lobster's and other sea creatures.

DAY 5: BAR HARBOR LIGHTHOUSE AND PIRATE COVE MINI-GOLFIt was another beautiful day. We decided to travel to the "other side" of the island and visit one of the famous lighthouses--Yea we got there and well, we all laughed at how small it was. After taking us about 5 seconds to look at that, we decided to do some hiking on the cliffs. It was so beautiful. Later that day we met the Bloomes in Bar Harbor and then went to Pirate Cove's Mini-Golf. I think Braeden was the winner:)

Day 6: SCENIC FLIGHT AND OUR LAST DAY:(A very spur of the moment thing w/ the help of the Bloome Family (watching the twins-thank you so much!!), Braeden Mike and I took a flight of the island. It was the perfect day and Braeden's first time on an airplane. He was so excited, but also admit's alittle nervous at first. Nervous or not-he was all smiles and glued to the look out the window the entire time. His favorite part was taking off and landing! After the flight, we hung out by the lake and had a lobster feast. Our night ended w/ a very awesome campfire-and quite twins:)

SUMMA... SUMMA...SUMMA-TIME!

No summer is complete without a dip in the pool! While Daddy was on his way to sunny Florida for training for his new job, we enjoyed a nice sunny day at the hut. While David was very happy enjoying a boat ride-Braeden practiced swimming without "fluggels" and did an awesome job. Jaxson was overjoyed splashing himself and everyone around him. At times he dipped his face right in the water. I've included a video clip below of our little crazy man!

July 19th.. Been waiting for this day since February... Kenny Chesney, Poets and Pirates Tour... For those who do not know, Braeden LOVES Kenny! He know's all the songs-every word... So Mike and I could not imagine not taking him. In addition to Kenny, we got the pleasure of seeing Leann Rhimes, and Keith Urban-oh which he also loves. It was a hot, long day, but one of which involved lots of singing, dancing! While watching Kenny, out of no-where, someone from the crew asked if Braeden was a "Kenny Fan".. With a nod of yes, we got the pleasure of going all the way to the front of the stage. I still can't believe it! It was one of the best days/nights of my life! Not only seeing him on stage that close, but getting to watch Braeden ... The feeling is so heart-warming...I've never been so happy for him...Like Kenny says--"I'm what I am, I'm what I'm not, I'm sure happy with what I got, I live, love and laugh alot, and thats all I need"~

LETS HAVE A SLUMBER PARTY!!!!

So, Sunday night, he had his 1st "sleep over". Braeden heard the word slumber party and instantly thought of the Berenstain Bears book that he reads at school all the time. "Here's what we have to do, we have to make a mess, and then clean it up. After we clean up, we watch movies, and we have to eat popcorn." When he came home the next day, he said he had a great time. Thank you Katie and Cole for a good Slumber Party.

What was suppose to be a weekend away camping, turned into just a day trip, but what we fit into one day was worth every mintue. Beach time was totally different than 2 weeks ago, as the Twins can move now. We then took a drive down to Cape May (u know you want to sing the song), and walked the town and had a nice family dinner. Instead of the boardwalk, we decided to spend our evening, walking the beach, watching the Ferry and enjoying the beautiful sunset. Nobody could ask for a better day...

LIFE'S A BEACH!

Did you ever have one of those moments that you said to yourself "All we do is work"... Well, we did and decided that on the "next home day" we would go to the shore! Jaxson and David did awesome at the beach. We found the perfect spot, right in the shade. Braeden enjoyed "surfing" in the water... Ok he pretended to surf and Mike and I, we enjoyed spending a day away from home with our family.

Hillside Farm

When asked if I'd like to chaperone, I was very happy to say yes and get the chance to go to a buffalo farm. While on the field trip, the kids got to go on a hayride, learn about buffalo, and see the horse stables. Braeden enjoyed feeding the buffalo hay and also loved the windmill. After being constricted in the house last summer, it was very nice to be able to assist w/ this field trip and spend quality time with my big boy:)

Graduation Day Its hard to believe that pre-school is just about at
an end and Kindergarten is around the corner. Braeden and his Pre-school friends have finally graduated and all with honors. Braeden was deemed most likely to become an Jet Pilot, for his love of building planes and rockets.

We're going to the Zoo... Zoo.. Zoo... How bout' you.. you.. you..
Well, the Elmwood Park Zoo. This was our last Zoo Event w/ Play and Learn, yet the Twins 1st trip to the Zoo. We saw, Mountain Lions, Peacocks, Prairie Dogs... We met Anderson there and the two boys had an awesome time, getting Rockets painted on their arms, along w/ making masks and playing on the slide. As hot as the weather was, they had a coooll time~

Ricketts Glenn State Park!

Our 1st camping trip as a family and we had the best time. We had campfires every night, went hiking to Ricketts Glenn and enjoyed some relaxation. The twins did awesome as this was there first time in the camper. They slept thru the night both nights no problem. During the day, even there naps were a success and they were not cranky at all! Braeden also did good as this was his first time sleeping on "the table (which turns into a bed)". We got to feed chipmunks, saw woodpeckers and hummingbirds, ton's of caterpillars and deer right behind our camper. The best part, our 3 hour hike-total success--Not one Cry!!

Saturday, April 19th! Not only was it Gavin's 1st Birthday and 85 degrees in April~It was David and Jaxson's first trip to the park. Both boys got a chance to enjoy the swings, while big Brother Braeden enjoyed the slide. Jaxson was alittle unsure, while David was loving it and even decided to take a try on the big slide with Daddy and Braeden.

While Jaxson may have beat David to the punch at rolling--David has taken the plung--to sitting--At 5 1/2 months sitting with assistance-as seen in these pics, but now at 6 months, he's a pro! He is so proud of himself, he even has started to test rocking back and forth. Of course, as I was entertaining David and cheering him on for this pic--Jaxson rolled over and spilled my cup of coffee all over the floor--Nice stain too!

Braeden's Good Deed~

One day during the week, as I was on the phone w/ my boss, Braeden runs to the door yelling. Now, imagine this--He is dressed in his cowboy hat and snowmobile boots--as it is "Hat, boots and lasso" day at school--He improvised as he did not have cowboy boots~thinking of this on his own, I couldn't stop him. So yelling, he states that he found baby Robin's. I direct him not to touch anything--cuz I'm still on a call with my boss, which took all of this very well...When I'm done the call and check--Braeden did indeed find Baby Robin's-- 7 of them. They fell out of the bird house as the door popped open and fell onto our raspberry bushes. With Gloves, we picked them each up and put them back in the birdhouse, and of course getting Braeden's Glamour Shot. I am happy to report, the mother and father did return to the nest and our baby birds are doing very well:) ...

~PERSONALITY~

BOY O BOY have they developed. Looking at these two pictures, there is so much that I see, but I spend every second with them. I wonder what you see? In the last month, both boys have learned their names, and the reactions we get when called are heart warming.

David still is rolling to his side only. He is reaching for objects while laying on his back, side or sitting in "the dish". He will sit by himself, but only for a short time. While sitting, with assistance, he does like to pull himself away. He is very tickelish under his arms and chin and loves to reach for your hair-so watch out girls. He does love to cuddle and his new word is Gooooo...

Jaxson...Rolling, that he is--He rolls and doesn't stop, now that he has mastered it. He likes to prop himself on his elbows and is a fast learner, realizing he can move his leggs, getting him to places he's never been! He too has begun reaching for objects. He also did begin to eat food, and has caught up to David, yet some days still being stubborn about eating! Talking-No Gooing--yet he does make a Tiger rooring sound--Seriously funny:)

Happy Birthday Braeden !!!

This was the last of the parties for Braeden, the bowling party. His school friends came which included, Anderson, Tristan, Logan, Ellie, Connor, Dillan, Emma, Casey, Maura, Stella, Alec, Leah and his special girl Devon. After an hour of bowling, then nuggets came the cake--Alligator cupcake cake! Awesome idea and loved by all. For his special gift, Braeden received a bowling pin which was signed by his friends.

Braeden was very excited about his birthday this year, afterall he was having 2 parties. He had a dinasour party and a bowling party for his friends. After all the festivities, he ended up with more toys then he can play with in one day, but enough memories to last a lifetime.

4 Months Old!! I still can't believe its been 4 months yet there are days that feel like it has been a year...At the last checkup, Jaxson weighed 12 lbs 2 oz while David was 13 lbs 15 oz. Funny enough head size and length were the same. We are now wearing 3-6 months clothes for everything, even socks! They continue to grow so quickly.

As we would all expect, food has been no problem for "Heavy D". So far he loves it all, rice or oatmeal cereal, fruits, veggies...and when your finished, he is not, as he will cry for more. David did start reaching for objects while laying on the mat. He continues to wake up at night, but has had a couple nights sleeping until 5:30-6:00. That was very much appreciated!!!

While there have been differences from the start, they have definitely emerged. Jaxson begins to roll on his side. He also continues to sleep thru some nights, as we begin to sleep in the cribs. As we start eating cereal, Jaxson has some struggles and sticks with the bottles. Cereal just isn't his thing...He has started to hold his bottle, although he needs to practice staying still!
